Connect - Balance - Transform

Elevate Harmony

Elevate Harmony is such a beautiful name. What inspired your company's name?

Thank you so much! We are all on our own journey and yet we are all connected. I really wanted a name that was positive, captured my heart, and inspired others.  Harmony is a word that resonates deeply with me and is such a necessary part of development, progress, overall happiness, and survival. Harmony brings contentment and powerfully unites people. Elevate Harmony’s products and services aim to help you restore your own balance and energy, elevate harmony from within, and ultimately raise our collective vibration.

"Harmony is a word that resonates deeply with me and is such a necessary part of development, progress, overall happiness, and survival. Harmony brings contentment and powerfully unites people".

What type of products do you offer?

In addition to individualized services (Reiki sessions, chakra balancing, wedding officiations), Elevate Harmony currently offers handmade crystal jewelry, Orgonite towers, Orgonite jewelry and six ingredient bath bombs. The bath bombs are simple, yet absolutely luxurious and don't have all the toxic ingredients, fragrances and dyes that most bath bombs do. I will also be expanding my jewelry collection soon, as well as adding a couple natural beauty products, and launching my bath bomb boxes.

Describe your hand making process. How long does it take you to make certain products?

Bath bombs are made by mixing my specific ingredients together and placing the mixture in silicone molds. A batch of bath bombs takes about 24 hours to make and dry.  Typically a batch of bath bombs takes about 24 hours to make but depending on the humidity, could take longer. Orgonite towers are made by layering resin, metals, and sometimes crystals in silicone molds. My standard sized Orgonite towers take 2-4 days to make as each layer of resin has to cure before you add the next layer. Orgonite jewelry and towers help cleanse negative energy, counteract the effects electromagnetic waves have on our bodies, and can help improve sleep and general wellbeing.

My handmade crystal jewelry is probably quickest to make. Depending on the design, I can complete several pairs of earrings in one hour. It takes longer for me to settle on the design prior to production that really captures my idea or showcases each crystal the way I want it to.

What is your favorite product and scent?

Ha! That’s such a tough question….I literally love everything I promote! I wear my earrings almost daily, practice Reiki on myself, and use my bath bombs VERY often. I have Orgonite towers all over my house, and I love to give my creations as gifts to friends and family. My favorite scented product would be my "So Zen" bath bomb which promotes deep relaxation and is 'scented' with essential oils only. The oils I choose for each bath type of bath bomb are specifically chosen to support healing, relaxation or improve sleep. These oils are also considered generally safe for family members age 6+ and have been great for those with sensitive skin. And if anyone has a topical allergy to unrefined, cold pressed, organic coconut oil, I am able to make an alternative version with a different oil.

You are a certified Reiki practitioner. For people who might not know what Reiki is, can you describe what it is and how it can help to heal?

Sure-absolutely! Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety, relieves pain, stimulates the immune system, promotes natural self-healing, fosters tissue and bone growth after surgery/injury all through gentle touch or with the use of a proxy item if a session is done remotely.

Reiki is holistic and works on the entire self; mind, body and emotions and is an awesome complement to other types of medical and therapeutic treatments, often increasing their efficacy. Reiki practitioners lay their hands gently on or above your body in specific energy locations through a series of 12-15 hand positions. Most people feel very relaxed and peaceful during Reiki treatments and often will fall asleep. You may also experience sensations like heat, tingling or pulsing where the practitioner has placed their hands, sensations that move throughout your body, or emotional releases while others may not feel a perceived change at all. The beauty of Reiki is that it goes where it is needed in the body, is not dependent on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not. And while Reiki is not a religion, it embraces the idea of promoting peace and harmony with others.

What is your favorite crystal and why?

It’s too hard to pick just one!! They all have such beneficial and powerful properties and they are all beautiful!! I do use clear quartz often as it is the “master healer”, is used often in meditation and restorative work and is protective so I wear it during Reiki sessions with clients. In general though, I cycle through wearing or carrying different kinds of crystals.  Typically I choose which crystals to wear/carry based on a combination of intuition and alignment with my goals and intentions.

You are also an ordained minister. Can you tell us more about your ministry journey?

Honestly, I decided to become ordained during COVID when several friends of mine had their wedding venues close or ministers bail on their event. I wanted to be a resource so couples could still be celebrated and have their magical day.

Have you ever considered opening up your own private practice one day?

I do consider this my private practice in a sense. I am able to connect and treat people all over the world and do not need my own physical location to do so. Reiki can be done remotely or I travel directly to local client’s homes. I also have some of my products showcased in a Lake Tahoe Salon and am open to wholesale partnerships.

What are some words of advice you can give to entrepreneurs who want to startup a business in the healing industry?

DO it! Make a plan and commit to growing your dream. Focus on something that you truly have a passion for, start with a simple business plan and grow it as needed. It’s a learning process so don’t be afraid to ask for help, be ready to embrace feedback and learn from your mistakes. We can spend our entire lives growing the dreams of others or focusing on growing our own. It’s ultimately up to us!

We are all in need of some holistic self-care tips. What self-care tips can you provide us to keep our body, mind, and Spirit balanced?

I am a big advocate of DAILY grounding/earthing; connecting my bare feet and hands directly to the earth; in the garden, at the beach, being barefoot. Grounding is incredibly powerful and helps stabilize our physiology at the deepest levels, re-orients us and keeps us present.  Establishing and maintaining meaningful (to you) self care routines is important to keep us balanced, sleeping well and thinking positively. Reiki and chakra balancing are awesome tools to help keep the body balanced as well as utilizing crystals, diffusing essential oils and actually spending time manifesting and envisioning our goals. What keeps our soul fed is so individual but it's up to us to find what fits and establish good habits.

Outside of your business, what are some other hobbies that you enjoy?

I really love hanging out with my two boys (ages 20 and 14), house projects, event planning, and hosting online surprise jewelry reveals.

How did your journey with becoming a life coach begin?

My journey with life coaching began long before I really knew what a life coach was. I believe that I’ve been in some way coaching others for years. I have always had a heart for people and encouraged them to live their very best lives.

What inspired your business name "She Is Me?"

My business name was inspired by my commitment to women around the world. It is my belief that every woman has a story but within every story there is another woman that can relate to your situation. That as women, if we decide to change the societal norm that we are each other’s enemy we could in fact build a village of support around each other.

What type of services do you offer?

At She Is Me, we offer individual life coaching, group coaching, and the ambassador programs. The ambassador programs are programs designed to build community amongst young ladies and women around the world. It is designed to guide sincere connections amongst women while exploring outcomes that will equip women to cheer for one another. I also understand that not every woman has time to sit with a life coach. For that reason I have recently published the first of many life coaching journals. The journal is entitled “Dear Sis,” and it was created for the busy woman who seldom makes time for herself. The journal is a 30-day guide to rediscover and redefine who you are outside of being everything for everyone. The journal can be found on Amazon. My husband and I also own and operate The Harrison Institute where we train and certify skilled life coaches, as well as develop relational leaders with diverse organizations.

Tell us more about your community ambassador program.

The Community Ambassador program is designed to encourage school age girls to build community. The program is ten weeks and includes practices that will develop each young lady’s communication and leadership skills. The 10-week program is implemented in a group setting as open discussion. Each session will have a clear topic, but each topic will build upon the topic of the week prior.

Being a life coach means that you are always helping other people and empowering other people. Who or what do you seek when you need self-care?

Being there for others is a part of my Kingdom assignment. God has given me strength and granted me the ability to connect with others in a way that builds trust and empowerment. I am a huge advocate of mental health. I spend time with a therapist to release some of the stress of my days. My therapist is great about ensuring I have set boundaries in order to protect my mental and spiritual health. I lean tremendously on my village for support. My village is a combination of my family, my INCREDIBLE church family, and friends that hold me accountable but also give me room to be human and vulnerable. But most importantly I have an amazing husband that understands the importance of self-care. He gives me space to take care of myself whenever I need to and he does it without complaint. He’s the real MVP!

Can you leave us with one short and simple daily life coach tip that we can take with us?

Take time to celebrate every step you have taken towards your goal. Small victories lead to big goals! Trust YOUR process.

As a life coach you were gifted with the ability to connect with people from all walks of life.  What are some characteristics and traits that make a good life coach?

I believe the most essential characteristics and traits that make a good life coach are being a good listener. A life coach listens in order to help their client reach their goals using the greatness that is already within them.

Strong Communicator: A good life coach is able to keep the conversation going even when the coachee has little to say. A good coach will use the things that their client has communicated to guide them to helping themselves.

Compassion in order to hear without judgment. Also, compassion so that the coach’s questions are not closed questions, but ones that will allow for a greater connection.

How do you overcome challenges with clients who might have more psychological or emotional concerns who need extra support?

In situations where I believe the clients might benefit more from experts in the field of mental health, I have a list of resources and therapists that I refer clients to. The partnerships between myself and those resources are made in order to provide support for clients for as long as needed.

Outside of being a life coach, what are some other hobbies that you enjoy?

What I enjoy most of all is spending time with my family. We enjoy family nights, fun Friday’s, and so many other things that allow me to unwind and also spend time with the ones I love. I also love to read. Recently, I’ve completed Viola Davis’ autobiography “Finding Me”. What an incredible work of art from a phenomenal woman.
