Truly Amazing Scents

What inspired you to start your entrepreneur journey?

I was inspired by my cousin, Johnnie Bunting Jr., to start my entrepreneur journey. Johnnie gave me the idea about the candle business. After our conversation, I instantly started doing lengthy research. I fell in love with the art of candle making. I was constantly testing candles to ensure that I chose the right scents for my business. My mom, Reverend Sylvia Johnson, is another inspiration because growing up I watched her run various businesses, such as being a hairdresser, book store owner, banquet hall owner, and real estate agent. Other inspirations stemmed from me not being satisfied working various jobs that I possessed over the years. I wasn’t fulfilled by any of the nine to five jobs.

Why did you call your brand Truly Amazing Scents?

I came up with the name Truly Amazing Scents because I am specific about the scents that I choose, as well as the names of the products. I wanted quality products that would attract classy individuals like myself.

What inspired you to open Pure Juice Bar?

What inspired me to open Pure juice bar was my mother. A few years ago, she was diagnosed with cancer. After conventional treatments like chemotherapy and radiation failed, I began researching ways to boost the immune system naturally using raw fruits and vegetables. Through my research, I discovered the numerous benefits of juicing and read inspiring testimonials from others who had experienced positive changes in their health. This journey made me realize how important it is to bring healthy options to my community. I felt compelled to share the power of juicing with others.

Where is Pure Juice Bar located?

Pure Juice Bar is located in Simpsonville, South Carolina (926 NE Main Street, Suite F). We have plans to expand further throughout the Upstate region.
