What inspired you to start your journey as a certified makeup artist and lash artist?

Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve had a passion for beauty and creativity. I used to style my friends, do their makeup, and pick out their outfits. It came naturally to me. At 19, I became pregnant during my freshman year of college. I made the difficult decision to drop out of college, focus on what mattered most, and build a future for my child and me. While working part-time in retail, I enrolled at the Aveda Institute for cosmetology. That decision changed everything. It allowed me to take something I love and turn it into a career. Becoming a certified makeup artist and lash technician was the first step to walking fully into my purpose.
