May/June 2025 Event Production
The Hutchinson House
Rhea Kay and Brice Oliver
A Creative Production Company
What inspired you both to start your journeys in film and photography?
Rhea: Mine began at a very early age, watching the family videos my Dad used to shoot on
his camcorder. He must have noticed my growing fascination with it, so he got me one of
my own. I can still remember the thrill of being able to preserve these precious moments on film. Eventually, I branched off into photography, driven by the same sense of wanting to capture emotion or memory in an instant.
Brice: While I grew up with a love for movies, I didn’t start on this path until I was
working at a talent agency. I was managing music artists, and one of them needed to make a music video. To cut to the chase, I decided to shoot it myself. I was already familiar with the basics since music videos were an important part of what we did at the agency. The deeper I got into shooting, the more passionate I became about creating my films.
Rhea and I met at a shoot for rare cars in Brooklyn. We formed an instant connection over
our shared love of photography and filmmaking. We had the same values and found
ourselves falling in love and getting married. Together, we’ve built The Hutchinson House
into a production agency with a unique perspective in creating images and videos that
combine artistry with a personalized way of telling the stories of our clients.
